Does the thought of planning a birthday party leave you all at sea? Well fear not, I have the perfect pocean for you! To be more Pacific, have you thought about choosing an Under the Sea theme?
Styling children’s birthday parties is my absolute favourite pastime and so with the help of some crabsolutely fabulous small businesses, I’ve created a party all little mermaids and mermen will love.
CREATE THE LOOK
If you are planning an under the sea themed party for your little one this summer, I’ve added a few of my favourite suggestions to help create the look.
Little Lulubel have the most awesome array of party decorations and supplies for an under the sea theme, and I just had to snap up their jawsome shark platters. I also had their beautiful scallop eco plates, seashell napkins, blue wooden cutlery and these super cool lobster straws with matching paper cups.

For the perfect party bag or pass the parcel filler, look no further than the wonderful Organised Chaos with Kids who have two ocean themed mini play dough kits for you to choose between.
For the table I thought it would be fun to have these beautifully bright and vibrant Under the Sea shaped crayons from Crayon Box to add colour to the place settings which can also double up as an activity for the most flipper fabulous party with a crafty twist.

I decorated the table with rolls of turquoise and blue organza and sparkly confetti in blues and silver to give a watery shimmer to the occasion. It’s another really easy theme to style no matter how simple or elaborate you decide to go.
