How I created my Farm party of dreams!

If you’ve been following me on Instagram you will have seen just how excited I am about my new 'At the Farm' collection. I was never going to pass up an opportunity to show it off again, and so welcome to my very own 'At the Farm' party of dreams!

Living on a farm, this had to be the collection I went all out for and so with the help of a few of my favourite farm friendly small businesses, I set about styling the ultimate birthday bash.

CREATE THE LOOK

If you are planning a farm themed party for your little one later this year, just as we are for Willow, I’ve added a few of my favourite suggestions to help create the look.
Starting with every party’s pièce de resistance, the cake. Whether you are planning one big cake or individual ones as I have here look no further than Bow Beaus for the perfect finishing touch. Jo creates the most whimsical and wonderful cake toppers for every occasion, but being farmers, I have to say the farm animals are definitely my favourite!

I thought it would be fun to use our Bow Beaus animals as the place settings which could also double up as the party bags and each of mine has a gorgeous name tag from Jane Kent studio. Jane makes beautiful embroidered personalised keepsakes for every occasion.

To keep with the theme I wanted the flowers to feel as if they had come straight from the hedgerow. Old Trickeys Flower Farm created the most perfect jam jar posy's for the table.

For the perfect party bag or pass the parcel filler, look no further than these beautifully bright and vibrant farm animal shaped crayons from Crayon Box. And if you want to get really fancy, they even do crayon letters that you could personalise for each little kiddie’s party bag. Perhaps I'm getting a little carried away...

For sweet treats we had the most delicious hand iced biscuits from Original Biscuit Bakers in their best selling Farmyard party pack and they could not be more perfect.

The sheep cupcakes and krispie hay bales were made by the cook at Thomas's old nursery, Mandy is a genius and always makes our birthday cakes. If you are local to us in Devon, definitely go and find her on Facebook at Butterfly Cakes.

Meri Meri have the most beautiful array of party decorations and supplies, and when I saw that they had an ‘On The Farm’ collection, I could barely contain my excitement!
Piggie plates, tractor candles, cups shaped like roosters – the selection is stunning and will add those magical touches to your little one’s celebration.

No birthday, boy or girl's,  is complete without a birthday badge and luckily Flossy Teacake has the most gorgeous tractor version which is a must for a farm fanatic or their friends.

It is a really easy theme to style no matter how simple or elaborate you decide to go. I have used an old wooden trestle table and some hay bales which we already had at the farm, and borrowed a gingham cloth from Jamie's mum (aren't mums the best?). The mini milk bottles I love and they were bought some time ago, I forget where but you could easily find some online.
I really hope that this has helped you with your party plans, or even inspired you to plan one! Get started by ordering your Festive Fingerprints At the Farm Party Invitations.
